The project requires the supply of 50,000 tons of 316L marine-grade stainless steel (in compliance with ASTM A240 standards) for key bridge structures resistant to salt spray corrosion.

Tianjin Baiqiang Import and Export Co., Ltd. announced today that it has reached an annual strategic cooperation with a German Fortune 500 machinery manufacturing group, and will provide a stable supply of high-end cold-rolled carbon steel plates for its European factories, with the first batch of orders worth more than 30 million US dollars. The cooperation is based on the "zero tolerance" precision steel coils (thickness tolerance ≤±0.02mm) developed by Baiqiang and Baosteel, and the direct delivery is achieved in 15 days through the "steel special line" of the China-Europe Railway Express, which is 50% faster than the traditional sea transportation.
